Discover Marketing Angels favourite AI tools

Dalle promts:

In 2024, AI is growing at an incredible pace. What once seemed like something out of a sci-fi film has now become a regular part of our lives — from personal assistants like Siri and Alexa to advanced software used both at home and in business.

When talking about AI, people opinions divide. Some of them think that AI will capture the world and on purpose don’t use it, others use it on daily basis and can’t even imaging the life without these assistants anymore.

The variety of AI tools is vast, and it can be overwhelming to choose the ones that will benefit us the most.

In this post, we’d like to introduce you to Marketing Angels’ favourite tools, although we’re not saying they’re the best – there are so many great ones out there! It all comes down to personal preference.

AI tools for proofreading and translations

Deepl.com

Deepl is a powerful and highly accurate tool for text and document translation. It currently supports translation into 33 languages and also offers an AI-powered writing assistant. This assistant suggests better ways to phrase your sentences for improved style and fluency, while also correcting any grammar mistakes.

Pros:

  • The translator offers plenty of alternative words, and if you’re not happy with the first option, you can easily swap out specific words, which can even change the meaning of the sentence.
  • It integrates with various platforms and business tools, allowing for a seamless workflow.

Cons:

  • The Writing Assistant is currently available in only a limited number of languages, though we expect more to be added soon.

Quillbot.com

Quillbot is a real helper when it comes to styling text and correcting mistakes. It offers a variety of styles to choose from, allowing you to rephrase your text to match the tone you want, whether it’s academic, humorous, fluent, or more. The tool also includes a translation feature, grammar checker, AI detector, summariser, and other useful options.

Pros:

  • Analyses text to assess its complexity for the reader.
  • Includes a plagiarism checker, which is particularly helpful for thesis writing.

Cons:

  • Supports a limited number of languages.
  • Can sometimes alter the original meaning or tone of the text when making corrections.

AI tools for content generation

ChatGPT

When the first version of ChatGPT arrived in Latvia, many people were sceptical and used it mostly for fun. The information provided by ChatGPT at that time was somewhat outdated, the answers were not always relevant, and its understanding of Latvian and Russian was quite limited, to put it politely. However, when the newer version was released, it quickly became a must-have tool for those who value their time. Why?

ChatGPT can understand and generate human-like text, answer questions, provide tips and tricks, suggest content ideas, business strategies, and much more.

This doesn’t mean that ChatGPT will do your work for you, but it certainly makes tasks quicker and easier if you know what you’re looking for, saving you time from endless web surfing and reading irrelevant content.

Pros:

  • Instant answers to questions and a variety of content ideas.
  • Offers additional GPT tools, like DALL-E for image generation, text analysis, document reading, etc.

Cons:

  • Some information may be slightly outdated.
  • Although the language model is continuously improving, occasional discrepancies in text may still occur.

Gemini

Another powerful AI tool is Gemini (formerly Bard). It was released in Latvia after ChatGPT but offers several advantages. Gemini retrieves information directly from the internet, providing more up-to-date results. It also allows you to choose from multiple drafts. For example, if you ask Gemini to improve your text, it will offer an initial draft, but if you’re not completely satisfied, you can select from different options to find the one that suits you best.

Pros:

  • Offers a variety of language styles and suggestions to improve texts or ideas.
  • Provides quick answers with up-to-date information from the web.

Cons:

  • Sometimes, the responses to prompts may not meet expectations.
  • Lacks features such as reading text from images.

Pssstt… Both can help you with coding and Excel formulas.

AI tools for image generation

Midjourney

Unlike most AI tools, which offer both free and paid versions, Midjourney no longer provides free image creation. You must subscribe for at least one month to use it, but even the basic package lets you explore the impressive potential of this powerful image generation tool. In our experience, it’s one of the most precise tools available—if you know how to write the right prompts. Crafting a perfect prompt is essential for generating high-quality images. The output is excellent, with image quality high enough to be printed on large banners (with a little help from Adobe tools, of course).

It’s also a lot of fun to use—yes, fun, because once you get into it, you’ll feel like an artist.

Pros:

  • One of the most precise image generation tools, allowing you to create high-quality images like a professional.

Cons:

  • Only works through Discord, so you’ll need to create an account there and learn how to navigate the platform.

DALL-E

DALL-E is still in its development phase and could improve in generating images of people and animals. However, it’s a solid tool, particularly useful for creating images for cards or content. As with most AI image generators, the quality of the result depends heavily on the prompt you provide. If you’re unsure how to craft the perfect prompt, you can always turn to ChatGPT or Gemini for assistance.

Pros:

  • Helps refine your prompt and provides a description of the elements it used to create the image.

Cons:

  • Still has room for improvement, particularly in generating accurate depictions of people and animals.

Sample prompt: 3D cute marketing angel
(A 3D cute marketing angel in a more whimsical, fantasy world setting. The angel, with soft pastel wings, sits atop a fluffy cloud, surrounded by floating marketing icons like speech bubbles, dollar signs, and lightbulbs. The angel holds a golden scroll with marketing strategies inscribed, casting a gentle glow. The background is a dreamy sky with soft pink and blue hues, dotted with stars and rainbows, giving the scene a magical and creative atmosphere, perfect for a blend of fantasy and business).

Canva

Canva is a popular tool used by marketers, students, designers, and anyone who works with images. It’s an excellent alternative to Photoshop or Illustrator, especially if you’re not a professional Adobe user. The best part about Canva is its simplicity and speed—just a few clicks, and your post is ready. Want to create a video? No problem—add transitions, and you’re good to go. The paid version offers a very competitive image library, making it a great option if you don’t want to invest in Adobe licences or Shutterstock subscriptions.

Pros:

  • Perfect for anyone needing quick and easy solutions for content creation, with a wide range of templates and features for both images and videos.

Cons:

  • The updated interface may take some time to get used to.

AI tools for music generation

Suno

This is the hit of the season! Suno is a fun and easy-to-use song creation tool. Simply type in a short prompt about what you want the song to be about, and it will automatically generate lyrics and two versions of the song. Alternatively, you can use the custom setting to input your own lyrics, choose the music style, and get two more versions to choose from. If you’re having trouble with lyrics, you can always ask Gemini or ChatGPT for assistance.

Suno is a fantastic tool for quickly generating personalised tracks, perfect for reels or TikTok videos.

Pros:

  • You can create a catchy beat in just a few clicks.

Cons:

  • Still needs improvement when working with different languages.

AI tools for video creation

CapCut

CapCut is a great tool for creating reels and stories. It’s also excellent for more advanced video creation if you’re not using professional software like Adobe Premiere or After Effects. One of the key advantages of CapCut is its ease of use, offering plenty of options to transform your video into a commercial or a compelling story. You can easily add or remove backgrounds, apply creative effects, insert text, and more.

Pros:

  • User-friendly with a good range of free features.

Cons:

  • Captions in different languages need to be set manually, which can be time-consuming.

So, to conclude this article, there are dozens, hundreds, thousands of AI tools that you can use not only for marketing, but also for business improvement, customer satisfaction, etc.  Some of them are easy to use, some require a bit of knowledge, some offer free trials or free features, some require a subscription to use.

The main thing is to define your business needs and then find the tool that works best for you.

Why shouldn’t we be afraid of using AI? After all, someone still needs to write the prompts!

But if you don’t have the time or don’t trust AI tools, you can trust us. We always create creative and engaging content for our clients.
